Good things often create differences of opinion. I normally warm to anything that speaks of historically real characters ( keeps the wannabes who workshop them a bit under control) A film is either worth seeing or NOT .

The most frustrating thing is when movies just come out to decide BETWEEN what's hype , what's normal cynicism ( some arts people can't hack celebration of the good) The Nyork reviewer talks about a load of sugar and I think i wish we had newspapers that were worth buying - The NY reviewer can't even split it out- makes him seem like the dill .
Cynics are everywhere - who needs em ,. Some people don't like all the swearing in this film but if its real what more powerful storytelling can one have than to be exposed to a real but unusaul family who had a lot of influence .
Finally found someone who makes me see its at least worth watching
" Though they( lead characters ) eventually form a friendship, the relationship is more interesting than that: it's also the relationship between a therapist and a patient, a royal and a commoner, a closed man and a flamboyant one. Handled by such superb actors, stuttering and a strange friendship provide more than enough fascinating material for a wonderful movie.
